The Quarterback Plan

“If I don’t see an excellent option at RB/WR/TE, I’ll grab the cheapest of the “fantastic five” at QB… but this is probably a good year to wait.”

So, who is John targeting?

“At QB19, he has a great chance to be the best ROI pick on the board this year…”

The Running Back Plan

“I see a little more RB talent spread down the board this year compared to last, so I’m not prioritizing RB early quite as much in 2025… I am big on balance, though, so I’d like to get an anchor-like RB1 through three rounds of a typical 12 or 14-team league.”

  • RB7 by ADP: “He’s a foundational player and glorified receiver, so he’s pretty safe in the second round in PPR or half-point PPR.”


  • RB12 by ADP: “It puts him in the mix to give you solid RB1 production in the third round.”

The Wide Receiver Plan

“Most of the time, I want two wideouts in the first three rounds. I love investing in players who might have a career year, and those are usually individuals aged 27 or under. Additionally, I’m not concerned about a 27-year-old receiver falling off a cliff, as a running back potentially could, due to wear and tear.”

“If I’m at the end of the Round 1, the Ashton Jeanty + Brian Thomas start is going to be too sexy for me to pass up as a fantasy ageist and lover of Gurrificness.”
