The Everything Report
Rookie Receiver Emerging

The top 30 players in expected fantasy points (XFP) per game through Week 5
Jayden Daniels is HIM. He ranks 2nd in FPG (24.3) and 2nd in FP/DB (24.3). Last week we finally saw Daniels flash some rushing upside, gaining 85 rushing yards on 8 carries through the first three quarters. Despite barely trying in the fourth quarter of their last two games, the 2024 Commanders rank 4th-best in points per drive of any offense (through the first five weeks of a season) since at least 2000.
Wheels up for Brian Thomas Jr. Rookie Brian Thomas Jr. has seen 8 or more targets in three straight games and he ranks 6th among all WRs in yards (397) and 8th in YPRR (2.88). He looks every bit the part of a league winner this year - start him as a mid-range WR2 this week vs the Bears.
Tank vs Etienne. Bigsby has outgained Etienne on the ground 273 to 231 this year. He also leads 57 qualifying RBs with 8.03 YPC and ranks 3rd-best with 0.32 missed tackles forced/attempt - and has received all 3 of the team’s backfield rushing attempts inside the 5-yard line since Week 3. However, due to negative game script, Etienne is pacing him in XFP with his 20.6% target share.
Bigsby should be expected to get, at worst, 50% of the workload on the ground and most of the goal-line work moving forward - making both RBs thin flex plays for fantasy, with Bigsby getting a bump in projected positive game scripts and Etienne in projected negative game scripts.

Week 6 Decisions

Bucky Irving // Dale Zanine, Imagn Images
Graham Barfield helps you make the toughest lineup decisions in Week 6.
Start Bucky Irving. After he didn’t practice on Thursday-Friday, RB Rachaad White (foot) is doubtful…it’s Bucky week. We’re looking at Irving playing on 65-70% of the snaps at a minimum, with the upside of a bell cow role. Irving has been more explosive (5.6 yards per touch) than White (4.6)…roll him out as a strong RB2.
Sit Jerome Ford. Running behind a beat-up offensive line and with a quarterback that has lost his talent, Ford has been relegated to a roster clogger. Cleveland has the third-lowest implied team total (16.8 points), tied with Las Vegas - and D’Onta Foreman mixed in for 9/44 rushing last week. With Chubb looming, Ford’s time is close to over.
Start Zay Flowers. He exploded for 7/111 receiving on 12 targets vs. Bengals after he was an afterthought in Weeks 3-4 as a part of the Ravens' run-heavy gameplans. Baltimore’s passing volume can fall off quickly if they’re leading and running the ball, but you’re not taking Flowers out of lineups as a WR2 in this matchup.
Sit Christian Kirk. Based on how HC Doug Pederson runs his offense, Kirk is the most likely receiver to have his targets impacted by Engram’s return. Brian Thomas’ emergence demotes Kirk as more of a volatile WR3.
Stash Ja’Lynn Polk. Over the last two weeks, Polk has led the team in routes (84% share) and targets (13). Polk has been the first-read 28% of the time compared to WR2 Demario Douglas (19%). Maye might unlock him.

Houston Texans (43%) vs NE. Enter the Pats, with a rookie QB and a banged-up offensive line. Houston should have no problem racking up sacks (NE has allowed 15 in three games) and creating turnovers (NE has four in the last three games), per Drake’s Week 6 Streaming D/STs.
Terry is scary. McLaurin posted 4/112 receiving on 8 targets last week, his fourth straight game with 4+ catches. He’s leading the NFL in air yards share (55.1%) and reached 14.4+ FP in three consecutive games. BAL gives up the fifth-most receptions (45) and the fourth-most receiving YPG (127.4) to receivers out wide, per Brolley’s Week 6 Game Hub.
The return of AJ Brown. The football gods have gifted Brown with an elite coverage matchup in his return. CLE deploys man coverage (47.7%) and single-high (76.2%) at the highest rates in the NFL, and they also lead defenses in using Cover 1 (44.2%). Brown ranks first in YPRR vs Cover 1, per Spanola’s Coverage Shells Week 6.
Marvin Harrison boom week? The Packers are a major perimeter WR funnel, allowing the 4th-most schedule-adjusted FPG to opposing outside WRs (+7.4). They’ve also played single-high rate 54% of the time…Harrison averages 3.14 YPRR against single-high this year (7th-best), per Heath’s Week 6 Advanced Matchups.
The A.S.S. report has changed how fantasy players analyze WRs. Using the average separation score (ASS), we’re able to find valuable, actionable insights to win your season.

Week 6 Market Report

Rico Dowdle // Callena Williams, Dallas Cowboys
What players get upgrades & downgrades from Week 5?
Upgrade - Rico Dowdle. In Week 5, Dowdle finished with career-bests in carries (20), rushing yards (87), FPG (19.3), and snap share (50%). He also added a receiving touchdown for the second straight week to give himself 32.5 FP in the last two weeks. He’s starting to force Mike McCarthy’s hand as the clear best back in Dallas…monitor.
Downgrade - Dalton Kincaid. He has not played more than 63% of the team’s offensive snaps since Week 1, with his 62% snap rate in Week 5 also coming with top wide receiver Khalil Shakir out of the lineup. Through five weeks, Kincaid has yet to see more than seven targets and yet to amass more than 47 yards in a game. Panic switch is on.
Watchlist - Bijan Robinson. He’s yet to finish higher than the RB15 (16.2 FP) in each of the first five weeks, which isn’t going to cut it for a top-5 overall pick. Bijan has a chance to get right with a friendly upcoming schedule (@Car, Sea, @TB, Dal), but he may officially be time to panic if he can’t log a top-12 performance against the CAR defense in Week 6.

Buying & Selling
Buy Joe Mixon. If you combine the production from Cam Akers and Dare Ogunbowale over the last three weeks, they’ve averaged 20.9 FPG, good for RB7 on the season. With 8 weeks until their Week 14 bye, you’ll have Mixon entrenched in your lineup - and he’ll be fresh for the fantasy playoff stretch, per Hanesn’s Week 6 Players To Trade/Trade For.
Is Swift a stud? Despite ceding a goalline TD to Roschon Johnson last week, Swift is still experiencing top-12 RB usage. He averaged 20.0 weighted opportunities/game and a 17.3% target share over the past two weeks, ranking 2nd behind only Kamara. Ryan believes he’s probably a RB2 ROS, so buy him if he’s cheap or sell him if you can get a haul, per Heath’s Five Stats To Know From Week 5.
💸 Best Bets
Bucky Irving over 40+ rushing yards (+105 DK). NO is allowing the 3rd-most adjusted YBC/ATT (2.65) and 4.7 YPC to RBs. TB could go a little more conservative vs a rookie QB for NO as 3.5-point road favorites. Irving continues to push White for touches, this could be a week he plants the flag, per Brolley’s Best Bets Week 6.
CeeDee Lamb over 81.5 receiving yards (-135 Caesars). Lamb faces a Lions defense that he feasted on for 13/227/1 late last season. The Lions have allowed more than 200 yards per game to WRs over the last four weeks, and the oddsmakers see this game as the highest-scoring matchup of the week (52.5 total points), per Kelly’s Paul’s Props Week 6.
Tee Higgins Anytime TD (+110 DK). The Giants allow a league-worst 87.3% catchable ball rate, and they get killed downfield, allowing a 71.4% completion rate on throws of 20+ air yards. Chase has been more dominant downfield, but Higgins is likely due for positive regression, with both players averaging one deep target per game. per Spags’ Prop Bets Week 6.
