Week 1 Average Separation Score (A.S.S.) and Win Rate are LIVE in Fantasy Points Data Suite
🚨ANNOUNCEMENT🚨RECEIVER SEPARATION DATA is live for Week 1!
We have separation metrics available for every player, at every position, on every play of every game dating back to 2022. This is available on a route-by-route basis allowing for specific analysis based on coverage type, player alignment, route concept, and more. Remember, the Data Suite is fully customizable with innumerable “filter” and “split” options to take things even further from there.
Why is this important? Fantasy Points Data users can accurately identify which receivers are the best or worst at generating separation, offering an evaluation of WR skill wholly independent from QB play and target competition.
All of the separation metrics from Week 1 are already uploaded into our tools. We will have freshly charted data ingested into the Data Suite every Monday and Tuesday from all of the action the previous week.
Here are your Week 1 leaders in Average Separation Score (A.S.S.) for wide receivers:

And, here are the leaders in Win Rate – the percentage of routes with positive separation score – for WRs:

What a debut for Colts’ rookie WR Adonai Mitchell! He led all receivers in A.S.S. and Win Rate for Week 1 and just missed out on a monster day in fantasy football after QB Anthony Richardson overshot him twice on deep passes.
Lions WR Jameson Williams was flying on the field against the Rams, and his strong performance shows up on our metrics. He was the third-best WR in Week 1 by A.S.S. and Win Rate.
Better days are ahead for 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk after he posted the seventh-best win rate on his routes in Week 1. His slow start (2/28 receiving) in a tough matchup against the Jets shouldn’t have been much of a surprise, especially since he missed all of Training Camp. Aiyuk is an ASSMAN. He ranked fourth-best in A.S.S. (0.228) and ninth-best in Win Rate (24.6%) last season.
